A BAPTISM BY THE SEA
One of the highlights of the season was a baptism in Vannes, France—on the far western coast, in a region where we previously had no established connections. Baptizing someone in the sea, surrounded by God’s creation, was a profoundly moving experience. We are reminded that the Gospel knows no borders, and we are excited to witness how God continues to work in this new area. Regarding baptisms, we were able to purchase two portable baptisteries with funds provided by people and churches who support our ministry. With this, we’ve been able to conduct baptisms in living rooms in Paris and even in Luxembourg City, led by Pastor Brochu.
PRAYER WALKS ACROSS PARIS
Our second city-wide prayer walk was another monumental step in our mission to cover Paris with prayer. This time, we journeyed from east to west—a three-and-a-half-hour trek! While exhausting, it was fulfilling to physically and spiritually map the city. Each step of the way we claimed the territory for Jesus and are praying for His Kingdom to come to Paris. Special thanks Baptiste Ricard, our evangelism director, for coordinating these efforts. We believe that as we sow in prayer, God will reap a harvest of souls.
REVIVAL THROUGH PARTNERSHIP
In September, we were thrilled to host a dynamic team from Eastgate Church in Texas. Led by Bridger and Aspen Edwards and Michael and Dianna Tuttle, this group of passionate young people made a profound impact. From evangelism training to prayer walks and personal ministry, they were a blessing to our church. They even took over our Sunday service, handling everything from greeting to preaching. We are so thankful for their partnership and the vision of revival they shared with us. Thanks to Pastor Matthew Tuttle for believing in the next generation and sending them beyond borders to work in the Kingdom.
PURPOSE INSTITUTE
God has given us a 7-point vision that can only be achieved with his help.
- We will become a sending church.
- We will plant a church in each of Paris’ 20 arrondissement.
- We will have 100 CityGroups meeting across Paris.
- We will have a building to facilitate work with the destitute.
- We will develop a training center.
- We will impact the nations of the world.
- We will help other churches rise to higher levels.
To facilitate the vision that God has given us, we are preparing to launch the Paris campus of Purpose Institute in March 2025. This ministry training initiative is designed to equip local leaders for Kingdom service. With great local enthusiasm, we are eager to see how God will use this program to multiply His work in Paris and beyond. We are so thankful for Steve Schobert coming to Paris to train our local instructors and leaders who will make this happen.
THE SEARCH FOR SPACE
As our church grows, finding adequate space for our ministry remains an urgent need. We’re currently averaging 130 to 150 attendees each Sunday, though our room comfortably fits only 120. This limitation has plateaued our growth, leaving us feeling boxed in. Additionally, we are searching for office space where our team can gather and work effectively. We ask for your prayers as we seek God’s provision for the right locations for both our worship services and administrative needs. We are also exploring options to plant churches across the city to expand our reach and relieve the pressure. Your continued prayers are vital to this effort, and we believe God will work a miracle!
