A Text From Dallas Changed Everything

What a season it has been. From the first days of January through the end of March, Jen and I have been fully immersed in some of the most significant months of ministry we have experienced since arriving in Paris. We are grateful to each of you who prays for us, gives to this work, and believes in what God is building here. We earnestly covet your prayers for divine wisdom, protection, and provision. We want you to know what your partnership has made possible.

A NEW HOME FOR THE HARVEST

For years, we have prayed, believed, and searched for a space that could hold the growth happening at Paris Centre Church. Then, on the last Sunday of December 2025, a man attended our service and handed a business card to one of our leaders. He said, “If PCC is ever looking to move, there might be an opening here soon.” The card said “La Cité.”

On January 8, we toured the facility and met with Pastor Fred, whose congregation (La Cité) had started in a living room 16 years ago and now owned the €8M building outright. A 350-seat auditorium. Dedicated space for children. A baptistry on-site. Minimal setup. Room to grow. As our team walked through that building, we tried to stay measured in our responses, but inside we were all thinking the same thing: God, this is too good to be true!

THE DALLAS MIRACLE

One week after that tour, on January 15, I was sitting in my office in Paris when a text message arrived from Justin Michael, a pastor in Dallas, Texas. We had not spoken since November and he was totally unaware of anything happening in Paris.

The message was two words: “La Cité.”

Nobody outside our leadership team knew about the conversations with Pastor Fred. Justin shared that he was at a coffee shop in Dallas when he struck up a conversation with a woman named Debbie sitting nearby. She mentioned she worked with ministries in France. Justin mentioned he had a pastor friend in Paris. She asked, “Does he know La Cité?” She knew Pastor Fred personally.

God orchestrated a conversation 5,000 miles away on another continent to confirm what He was already doing in Paris. We are not moving because we had a good strategy. We are moving because God opened a door. There is so much more to this, but we wanted to give you a taste of the signs and wonders that God is STILL performing!

PRAISE-FILLED WARRIOR

To prepare our hearts for the move, we taught a series called The Praise-Filled Warrior. The core idea was simple: we wanted our congregation to walk into this new chapter as people who had learned to worship in the wilderness, not just in the promised land. The series set the tone for everything that followed.

One of the privileges of having a full-time staff is that we are able to develop sermon series, teaching materials, and ministry resources that bi-vocational pastors and churches often don’t have the bandwidth to produce. We believe the Church is stronger when we share what we build. If any resource we create could ever be useful to you or someone you know in ministry, please reach out. We would love to put it in your hands.

EQUIPPING YOUTH LEADERS IN GREAT BRITAIN AND IRELAND

In January, Jen and I traveled to Liverpool for REFRESH, an annual gathering that equips youth leaders across Great Britain and Ireland (GB&I) for more effective ministry. We were honored to be part of that investment in the next generation of leaders there. We love connecting with our brothers and sisters working across the GB&I. God is doing amazing things there, and we are grateful to be a small part of it.

THE MOVE

On March 1, we closed the chapter on our previous location with a powerful final service, welcoming guest minister Levi Jensen, who released a prophetic word over our congregation that launched us into the next season. One week later, on March 8th, over 180 people walked through the doors of our new home at Epicentre Paris in the 12th arrondissement. One person was baptized. Many responded in prayer. We are not the same church we were in February. God answered years of prayer, and we are standing in it.

CITYGROUPS: COMMUNITY ACROSS THE CITY

This spring, we launched a new CityGroup semester with groups meeting in homes and public spaces throughout Paris. Men’s groups, ladies’ groups, Bible study, prayer, evangelism, fitness, financial management, cooking, and more. This semester we are hosting Money Talks, focused on biblical financial principles. I am teaching an 8-week study group to help people become better managers and stewards of their finances and resources. Community is not an accident at PCC. It is built on purpose.

PURPOSE INSTITUTE – SEMESTER 3

Our third semester of Purpose Institute is underway, with a focused group of students delving into biblical foundations, apostolic doctrine, and ministry preparation. This semester, I am teaching on the oneness of God, and the class has been very deeply moving for the students who are participating. Watching people move from curious to confident in their faith is one of the great joys of ministry.

I LOVE MY CHURCH WEEKEND

In March, we hosted our annual I Love My Church Weekend with the Michael Ensey family from CLC Heath in Ohio. The Sunday service was electric. In addition to his dynamic preaching, his family helped lead worship. It was an absolutely powerful Sunday, and we are so thankful for the Ensey Family blessing Paris Centre Church. The day before was just as meaningful. We hosted EQUIPPED, a discovery experience where over 50 members of PCC came together to uncover their spiritual gifts, understand their God-given personalities, and find their place in the life of the church. It was one of the best days we have ever had as a congregation. We Love Our Church!

LEADUP

One of the most meaningful things we do is develop leaders. LeadUp is a leadership development initiative we have built to mentor new pastors and emerging leaders across multiple nations toward greater emotional health, spiritual authority, and practical excellence. It is a coaching relationship, built around one hour monthly conversations around spiritual and emotional health. The greatest gift you can give the people you lead is the person you are becoming. LeadUp is our commitment to that conviction, and we are honored to walk alongside leaders in multiple nations who are building healthy churches and healthy lives. If you know an emerging leader who could benefit from this kind of material, we would love to hear from you.

THANK YOU!!

None of this happens without you. Your prayers and your generosity are behind every baptism, every new face that walks through our doors, and every leader being formed at Paris Centre Church. We are so grateful for you.

If you are not yet a monthly partner, joining me and Jen at $50 a month makes a real, direct difference in what we can do in this city. Every gift moves the mission forward.

Together, we are bringing hope to Paris.
