June 2019 Update

Summer has kicked in here in Paris, and we were excited about what was in store for this month!

The Carson family was able to spend a few weeks with us recently. It has been over a year since we were home, and it was a great pleasure to take a few days off to catch up with them and show them a bit of the country and city that we love. We are thankful for and blessed with a great, Godly family.

We continue to work very closely with our Regional Director on projects around Europe and the Middle East. Serving as administrative assistants to them is an honor that we do not take lightly. Due to work in this arena, we have a front-row seat to what God is doing around our region. There is revival taking place, and it’s good to step back sometimes to see the bigger picture of what God is doing.

Pentecost Convention

The annual French Pentecost convention was this month. It is an excellent time for all of the churches in France to come together to celebrate Pentecost. This year, in addition to Pentecost, we celebrated 40 years of the UPC in France. It was great to connect with our ministry leaders from around France. Additionally, we enjoyed having our Regional Director, Mike and Dianna Tuttle, with us for a couple days. We are honored to play a role in what God is doing in France.

AYC

After months of planning by the team here, led by Missionary Paul Brochu, the AYC France group finally arrived. They spent about 10 days here visiting various works around the country. Everywhere they went, they made a huge impact and were a great blessing. In Paris, they sang and played in the streets for a time of outreach, and led two church services in the city. If you have contributed to or helped with AYC, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Your investment into the lives of young people has an immeasurable impact both upon them and the local work.

Father’s Day

Father’s Day afforded us a real treat at Paris Centre Church. We were thrilled to host the beloved Monte and Dianne Showalter. They came through Paris with their granddaughter and took time to be with us in service and minister to us. They are always a joy to be around and leave happiness in their wake. We look forward to seeing them again!

Pastor Jason & Karisha Watts

The month concluded with the Watts family visiting us in Paris. Pastor Jason, Karisha, and daughter Kaimberlyn are always a blessing and joy to have with us. He preached a powerful message, and we have a great move of the Holy Spirit in our altars. Our Paris Centre family enjoyed having them with us, and we did as well!

We thank God for a great month. Though it was jam-packed, we were able to take some time to step back and reflect on the great things that God has done. We appreciate each of you that prayerfully support us each month. May God richly bless you all!
