Happy Summer! I wish we could sit down with you and share in detail the absolutely amazing things that God is doing in Paris. We stand in awe of His mighty works.
Before we proceed with some exciting updates, we wanted to let you know that we will be in the USA for two months this summer, from June 27 to August 20. We would be thrilled to connect with you or your church and share the revival reports from Paris. We still have a few service times available, so if you are interested, please message us. We plan to be in Louisiana, Texas, Arkansas, Tennessee, Kentucky and West Virginia. We look forward to connecting with you and relating the great things God is doing.
PARIS CENTRE CHURCH
2024 has been a year of incredible growth at Paris Centre Church (PCC). In the last four years, we have grown by 110%, with a membership of now over 200 people!! So far this year, we have seen 12 people water baptized and 19 Spirit baptized. This is a significant increase from last year. For three and a half years, our church has had daily morning and evening corporate prayer, which has become an accelerant to the work of God here. We are thankful for what God is doing. With the dramatic growth we are experiencing, we are planning to launch a second campus across the city in February.
We desperately need a real estate miracle to accommodate the work here. We are exploring all our options and covet your prayers for wisdom and provision.
MINISTRY ACTIVITY
Our ministry calendar is packed with so much work to be done. Over the last few months, I have taught at Harvest Bible College, ministered in the Philippines, taught Bible studies, conducted leadership training, consulted with nations in the Middle East to help develop best practices and discipleship programs, participated in the Area Coordinators and Regional Commission leaders meetings in Cyprus, hosted CityGroups, and discipled young believers. It’s been busy here!
KYRGYZSTAN CONNECTION
A few months ago, a woman from Kyrgyzstan visited our church. She had previously been heavily involved in yoga, occultism, and drugs, which was a significant departure from her conservative upbringing. Despite her search for truth in these areas, she found herself empty-handed. Feeling desperate, one day, she cried to God, “If you are real, show me the truth.” At that moment, she looked down at the ground and found a picture of Jesus that someone had dropped. She recognized this as an answer to her prayer and called her Christian aunt in the US for guidance. Her aunt advised her to find a Pentecostal church, and eventually, she found her way to us. At PCC, she experienced deliverance and salvation. Her genuine hunger for truth made it easy to teach her Bible studies and for her to receive the Holy Ghost. It was a great joy to baptize her, but it was also bittersweet to see her return to Kyrgyzstan a few weeks ago. Please pray that God continues using Bermet to spread light and truth in her country. Nations around the world are being reached from Paris.
PERTH CONNECTION
Perth, Australia is one of the most isolated cities in the world. A month ago, a couple from Perth visited Paris Centre Church. Do you know why? Word of mouth! Last year, after finding us on Google, two couples from Perth visited PCC during their Christmas vacation. They were blown away by the Holy Spirit encounter and told their friends, “When you are in Paris, you must go to Paris Centre Church!” AMAZING!! What Jesus is doing in Paris is being talked about in remote corners of the world!!!
Another girl from Perth ‘randomly’ visited the same day and was looking for an encounter with the Holy Spirit. Different people from remote corners of the world converge at PCC all the time. Only God. This experience is for EVERY nation, tribe, and tongue! What a privilege to experience this Book of Acts experience every week!
PURPOSE INSTITUTE
We were honored to have Steve Schobert, Director of Operations for Purpose Institute (PI), minister at PCC recently. We were not only blessed by his ministry, but also by the vision he presented to provide apostolic training globally, enabling workers to discover their purpose and develop ministry skills. This aligns perfectly with PCC’s goals to elevate our ministry to the next level. While we have a fantastic staff, many others in our church are eager for deeper ministry training but lack a local avenue to pursue it. With PI, we will be able to offer English language training to anyone in our congregation who is interested. This will significantly advance our ministry operations. We are excited to see how God will use PI to impact Paris and beyond. We plan to launch a Paris PI campus in early 2025.
OUR TEAM
We are incredibly proud of the team that has been developed at PCC. Great leaders are emerging, and we are humbled to see God working in their lives. We have prayed for laborers, and God has heard our prayers. With outstanding AIM workers who have propelled the work forward and locals with a burden to reach their nation, we have seen a remarkable maturation of our team. Our vision is to train people locally to be sent out as church planters, missionaries, and workers to their places of burden. It is our time. It is our season.
Revival is here, and we are here for revival!
